St. George CARD sales

We have what you need for VALENTINE'S DAY.

Come see us on Sunday.

Use St. George "CASH" Cards at local restaurants, drug and department stores or for travel expenses.

Eating Out This Week?

In addition to the merchant and restaurant cards available from GLSCRIP, we have several of our local restaurants available; such as Little Joey's, Oakwood Smokehouse, Sonny's BBQ, Takis, Taverna Red, Bonefish Grill,  Carrabba's,  Outback, Longhorn, Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Rudy Tuesday, TGI Fridays, Dunkin Donuts, Applebee's, Bob Evans, Chili's, Panera Bread, Cracker Barrel, Honey Baked Ham & Sweet Tomato.

TREAT THESE CARDS AS IF THEY WERE CASH.

When we use St. George Cards for these purchases we can continue to build our endowment fund without spending any additional money!   We simply use the cards for things we buy each and every day --- and the merchants donate a portion of their profits to our Church.  You buy the cards at face value and spend them at face value instead of using cash, checks or credit cards you currently use.  The St George cards are like pre-paid debit cards.  Check out the hundreds of merchants that have cards available at www.glscrip.com.  Click on the “Retailer List” on the left side of the website screen – or pick up a printed list in the Parish Hall.

Local Food Stores

Fresh Market
($100), WalMart($100/$25), Winn Dixie($100/$25) & Target($100/$25) cards are available today.

Click on the following link to view our current order form, which can be printed in your own home and then brought in on Sunday;

T
he Vestry has EARS
The Vestry recently adopted a process by which Parishioners can communicate better with the Vestry, Ministries, and Parish Administration when personal contact is not possible. This process is called E-A-R-S, an acronym for Explain, Answer, Request, and suggest.

The Vestry feels that there should be several ways by whi
ch to communicate in order to answer concerns effectively. Person-to-person is the most direct way to get or give information. Sometimes when information is passed between Parishioners it gets changed or misinterpreted by the time it gets from the Originator to the intended Recipient. Sometimes a Parishioner may have a concern or interest and not be sure whom to
contact.

In order to offer a consistent means of contacting the Vestry, Pa
rish Ministries or the Parish Administrators in writing, EARS was adopted. There is a "Suggestion Box" in the Parish Hall with appropriate forms. A description of the process is there also. The Cork Bulletin Board in the Parish Hall has a log  posted of the EARS Forms received The Vestry encourages Parishioners to use the EARS process as another way to keep open communications. The
Administrators of the EARS Process are Tom Ryberg, Dorothy Corbett, and
Cano
n Bill Squire.
